Scary costumes based on fairytale princesses and heroines make no sense.
Especially when they try to make those same costumes be sexy.
It’s very annoying.

The trend in costumes the last few years has been to make them as sexy as possible without crossing the line into being to risque.
That is all fine and dandy with me, as I have always loved sexy costumes and figured if you are going to get dressed up in a costume sexy is the way to go. It’s much more appealing than gruesome, ugly, dead, horror type costumes.

Now however we have a problem.
More and more  I am seeing costume manufacturers trying to make gruesome, dead, scary type costumes look sexy.
At first I thought it was just stupid and couldn’t imagine the trend would continue.
How wrong I was!

So… the latest?

Fairytale princesses and heroines as ugly horror costumes… with a sexy cut to the costume. Umm…. yea, that makes sense.

This is supposed to be little red riding hood. It looks like she was eaten by the wolf and then barfed up. This ain't sexy. This ain't scary. It's just retarded. Lil Red is spooky in her own right. Her naivete and arrogance see her safely through a dark forest filled with danger and she comes out triumphant. Read the original story and you will see what I am talking about. Is this costume sexy? No way! Lil Red is supposed to be sexy. It's almost hard to make a Little Red Riding Hood costume not be sexy. They have done so here however.

Snow White?

This is supposed to be a dark and spooky version of a Snow White costume. Umm... She is called Snow White for a reason and I am doubting it is because she is a wanna be sinister emo girl in a badly designed costume. Not Sexy, Not Scary, Not Cool!

How Can fairest in the land look so trashy? She can’t. Snow White can’t be trashy.Sure, she can be a lot of other naughty things… but not nasty, trashy, or gross.

Alice in wonderland ... nope .... They call this one the Malice In Horrorland Costume. They bill it as a sexy costume. Must be the blood on the apron. The Rabbit died I suppose and Alice took care of it herself. Used that big knife and thats why she is so grumpy now... This costume is just plain gross and stupid.

That’s enough to give you the idea.
I am not going to show more, but you can trust me in the fact that these are not the only costume atrocities of this type.

If you see some misguided soul in one of these types of costumes… please let them know … It Ain’t Sexy!

Britney Spears is back and doing it again.

Her comeback took place in New Orleans. From what I have read and the videos I have seen it was quite a show. Not being a fan myself I can’t say that I am really sorry I missed it, but for those who like her particular brand of music i think it must have been  a huge treat.

About a zillion costume changes and they all went along with matching performances. Pretty darned impressive really.
My favorite costume was that of the ringmaster. It is HOT!
The rest are all fancy and impressive too of course, I just happen to like that one.

Fan or not… you have to be impressed with the costumes and the huge amount of entertainment she is giving with this tour. Jugglers , acrobats, you name it. It’s a real circus show for sure.
I for one am giving her 2 thumbs up on her costumes.

A lot of people attacked Tera Patrick’s Halloween costume she wore to a halloween party at the Tao nightclub in o7 on  halloween.  So much so that a year later it still chokes up the online image searches for her.

The complaint was” how lame to dress as a porn star for Halloween when you are a porn star.” I on the other hand think it was kinda cool. I mean, how many people are cool enough to dress as themselves on Halloween? I wish the heck I was. If for some reason you don’t know who Tera Patrick is… She was the youngest full contract ford model ever, being signed at just 13 years of age. She gave up modeling to go back to school at 18 and got degrees microbiology and then went back to school to pursue nursing. She worked as a nurse for a while, but the glamour of modeling kept calling to her so she started back up again… this time however she wanted to pursue nude modeling and fetish modeling. She did so well that she decided to dive into the porn world and because of her exotic look and stage presence she fast became one of the top adult stars in the world.

 She is married to Evan Seinfeld of Biohazard (bass player of a hugely successful metal band) who is also and actor, director, and  producer of adult and non adult media.

Why is it that when ever people talk about Paris Hilton it always gets around to how they don’t like her yet every time she appears in a magizine  it sells like crazy?

Jealousy maybe? I think so for many people. She is rich, attractive, pampered, has fun, and for the most part doesn’t give a crud about what other people think.  I know a lot of men say they don’t like her because it actually angers the women around them. Why would any normal man like a wild , fun, attractive , rich, famous blond?  Oh, must be because she is a bit ditsy. Can’t appeare to like a girl unless they have a degree in biochemistry.

For me one of the reasons I like her (yes I like Paris Hilton) is that she always shows up in costume. No lame party pooper here.  This girl struts it!

As you can see, she digs the costumes. I only posted some I like, you could most assuredly hunt down more if you wished.

My personal favorite is the cop outfit. For those of you who pay attention to this rich party girl I am sure you know that she happened to pick this one just after a short jail visit.

My least favorite is the Jail Bait costume. The writing being so bold and flashy ruins the whole thing for me.
