I take a lot of pictures when doing a costume photo shoot. I use about 1 in 4 on average. The rest I just send to the trash bin. 

Sometimes though when doing a photo shoot the models have a special request, or maybe I just want to try something and I shoot a few extras. I get some good pictures, but don’t really have any use for them myself.

Cupid and the Gangster Girl

The models are friends and I shot them on the same day. They wanted a few pictures together for themselves… no problem.   I got a few really cute pictures of them.  The question is… can I use them for anything? They don’t fit with the theme of what I am doing and the costumes don’t match each other. Useless? 

 I am thinking about having a random section on the site. A place for oddball pictures like this. Not galleries or anything, just a post of my own favorite extras.  It just seems sad to let great pictures of pretty girls in cute costumes go to waste.

O.K. It’s exactly one month until Valentines day. One month to plot and plan your big night.

The things not to forget list….

1. Get some decorations
2. Candles
3. Chocolates
4. Fruit covered with chocolate
5. Champagne and or wine
6. Clean sheets in a clean room
7. Hairdo, nails, wax
8. Music to set the mood
9. A nice card proclaiming your love
10. A very sexy valentines costume that ensures he will NEVER forget the night.

As for the costume part, I have you covered. I jumped around my 3 favorite costume sites and found the costume that I thought was the sexiest and cutest by far, and also happens to be the best deal (AKA most bang for your buck)

Ultra Cute Cupid Costume

This is it, my personal pick for Valentines 2009.

The costume includes a pink Mini-dress, valentines corset with hearts and pull on ruffle sleeves. It comes with thigh high bow topped stockings, a cute  halo and wings, plus a choker  and shoe clips.

Sadly it doesn’t come with the bow or the purse.

Have a valentines to remember!

Oh, and one more thing… just kind of a suggestion really…. Make a few hints at least that you will have some plans on Valentines to your guy. Men sometimes (not always) kinda forget to be ready for valentines and other occasions of the sort.  Give him a heads up so he doesn’t mess up.
