I just watched this movie and I gotta say that by the end of it I really kinda liked it.
I didn’t watch it because I thought the costumes would be great, but I also ended up liking them.
A very 80’s retro type thing is going on with the costumes and they really got it down nice without throwing it in your face.
They are cute, kinda sexy, a tad racy, but still… just good roller derby costumes.

From a costume standpoint these aprons are actually my favorites from the movie. They just rock! Very cute, very stupid, and very 80's.

The five teams of Whip it are as follows:
(1) the Holy Rollers (the undefeated team in white and grey plaid school-girl uniforms, led by Juliette Lewis as Iron Maven.
(2) the Black Widows (looking sexy) dressed in black
(3) the Fight Attendants in pink and orange stewardess costumes
(4) the Hot Tamales all in red of course
(5) the Hurl Scouts in not so sexy green is the loser team that the movie follows and has the star (Babe Ruthless) plus Drew Barrymore it.

So I recently made a big deal about Kim Kardashian as Snow White, and I have mentioned her a few other times in posts… so I figured it was time I should show you all why this gal rocks.

I watched a movie last night called Deep In The valley.
I rented it because of the box cover figuring that it was full of hottie babes in sexy costumes.

Well… How would I rate the movie?
If you want a movie to help you fall asleep at night and you are wishing for sweet dreams… This is your flick.

The idea is sound.
A couple guys get transported into porno movie land.
One guy is a porn addict… the other a conservative nerd.
Should have been a great movie in that stupid, retarded, bad movie sort of way.

Nope, just sucked.
Boring as heck.
I fell asleep before it was half over.

It did have cute girls in cute costumes and outfits however…
So for those who just want to see the hotties in cute attire it is worth a watch.
If you need some substance however… Skip it!

Sexy cops bust the guys the minute they show up in porno land

Believe it or not... the guy can't score even when the girls are acting out like porn stars

Lots of sorority girl action is the theme in this flick

This bad girl was actually a cop in the movie and she did a good job of it too. Her first scene actually made me laugh.

Can't have a movie of this sort without cheerleaders

As you can see... eye candy galore in this movie, but that is about it.

With all that said, I have to admit they did a good job of having the 2 guys act like normal guys while having the entire rest of the cast act like bad adult film actors.
The dialog was spot on low budget porn vs regular acting by the two male stars. As I said before… the concept was good.

Oh… and as to the hotties list:

Rachel Specter.. as Bambi, Kate Albrecht as Daphne,  Blanca Soto as Suzi Diablo, and Kim Kardashian (Who you all know I love and the subject of my last post and a couple others) as Summa Eve top my list.

Honorable mentions go to Denise Richards  as Autumn Bliss, Charlotte Salt as Tracy, Nikki Griffin as a cute babysitter, Taryn Southern and Ana Alexander as naughty doctors, and last but not least Lexi Baxter who doesn’t do much at all except look cute as all get out.

There are also about 50 other hot girls in the flick who I didn’t mention because they didn’t strike me enough to look them up.

It finally seems that the main costume manufacturers are figuring out that when couples go out on Halloween they may both want to dress up to look good.
This year instead of the usual bunch of couples costumes that make the girl look sexy and the guy look ridiculous they have introduced plenty of costume sets with the guy actually able to look pretty darn good.

For example….

Check out this butler and maid costume duo.

These are some sexy costumes and perfect for any couple that wants to have class, be pimp stylin, and have sex appeal.

I usually don’t like spooky mixed with sexy as it most often is a huge failure, but this couples costume set actually works.
It originally caught my eye because at a glance it looked like the butler from the previous picture took a turn for the worse and I thought it was funny….

Anyway, this costume set works and people will love it. The only problem I see is that it will be super popular with Tim Burton fans searching for Corpse Bride costumes and if you are going to a large party somebody else may have went with this one too.
The thing that makes it o.k is that you can go with the male costume and then get a different corpse bride costume to mix it up. Tons of dead bride costumes are available and many of them are very sexy. Some aim towards the pretty side and others get more racy… but you have lots to chose from.

The Grooms outfit is called “Corpse GroomBarry D’Alive” costume.
It includes a deadsexy crushed velvet jacket with attached Satin button front vest, top hat, bowtie and removable boutonniere.

The Brides costume is called “Corpse Bride Diane Toluvya“.  Don’t you love these fun names?
It includes a stretch knit off the shoulder dress with luscious lace in the center, rose ribbon details along the bust, tulle attached to the skirt and lace petticoat. A dark and lovely veil with roses headband, bouquet, and garter.

So…… Sticking with the suit theme….

How about Zoot Suits ?

This couples costume set  is slick.
One of the things I like about it is that the female costume actually comes with trousers instead of a short skirt.
Don’t get me wrong, i love short skirts as much as the next guy, but just like sexy men’s costumes…. sexy cut women’s costumes that don’t have a short skirt involved are becoming a rarity.
If however you just can’t do a costume without a short skirt… no worries.
A version exists.

Consider this the more racy version…. but no matter what rout you go, the costume set is great for couples.

I will give ya one more couples costume set then.

O.k…. I admit it.

I included this set because of the costume names. They just cracked me up.

Even so… I like the costumes.
The main reason I like them (besides the names) is because of the mans costume. Most primitive, cave man, jungle man, wild man costumes are done in one of two ways. Goofy and funny while covering you up so you don’t look to bad if you are not an Olympic athlete… or they are made for people who are built like Olympic athletes.
This costume is right in between.
You need not be Hercules to look sexy in it and it isn’t cut in a way to make you look like a joke.
  

That is actually one of the things that made me include  all of the costumes I have shown. None of them require you to be built like Arnold to look good in them.

Scary costumes based on fairytale princesses and heroines make no sense.
Especially when they try to make those same costumes be sexy.
It’s very annoying.

The trend in costumes the last few years has been to make them as sexy as possible without crossing the line into being to risque.
That is all fine and dandy with me, as I have always loved sexy costumes and figured if you are going to get dressed up in a costume sexy is the way to go. It’s much more appealing than gruesome, ugly, dead, horror type costumes.

Now however we have a problem.
More and more  I am seeing costume manufacturers trying to make gruesome, dead, scary type costumes look sexy.
At first I thought it was just stupid and couldn’t imagine the trend would continue.
How wrong I was!

So… the latest?

Fairytale princesses and heroines as ugly horror costumes… with a sexy cut to the costume. Umm…. yea, that makes sense.

This is supposed to be little red riding hood. It looks like she was eaten by the wolf and then barfed up. This ain't sexy. This ain't scary. It's just retarded. Lil Red is spooky in her own right. Her naivete and arrogance see her safely through a dark forest filled with danger and she comes out triumphant. Read the original story and you will see what I am talking about. Is this costume sexy? No way! Lil Red is supposed to be sexy. It's almost hard to make a Little Red Riding Hood costume not be sexy. They have done so here however.

Snow White?

This is supposed to be a dark and spooky version of a Snow White costume. Umm... She is called Snow White for a reason and I am doubting it is because she is a wanna be sinister emo girl in a badly designed costume. Not Sexy, Not Scary, Not Cool!

How Can fairest in the land look so trashy? She can’t. Snow White can’t be trashy.Sure, she can be a lot of other naughty things… but not nasty, trashy, or gross.

Alice in wonderland ... nope .... They call this one the Malice In Horrorland Costume. They bill it as a sexy costume. Must be the blood on the apron. The Rabbit died I suppose and Alice took care of it herself. Used that big knife and thats why she is so grumpy now... This costume is just plain gross and stupid.

That’s enough to give you the idea.
I am not going to show more, but you can trust me in the fact that these are not the only costume atrocities of this type.

If you see some misguided soul in one of these types of costumes… please let them know … It Ain’t Sexy!
