I just watched this movie and I gotta say that by the end of it I really kinda liked it.
I didn’t watch it because I thought the costumes would be great, but I also ended up liking them.
A very 80’s retro type thing is going on with the costumes and they really got it down nice without throwing it in your face.
They are cute, kinda sexy, a tad racy, but still… just good roller derby costumes.

From a costume standpoint these aprons are actually my favorites from the movie. They just rock! Very cute, very stupid, and very 80's.

The five teams of Whip it are as follows:
(1) the Holy Rollers (the undefeated team in white and grey plaid school-girl uniforms, led by Juliette Lewis as Iron Maven.
(2) the Black Widows (looking sexy) dressed in black
(3) the Fight Attendants in pink and orange stewardess costumes
(4) the Hot Tamales all in red of course
(5) the Hurl Scouts in not so sexy green is the loser team that the movie follows and has the star (Babe Ruthless) plus Drew Barrymore it.

Not for the costuming, but I liked the movie enough in that cute movie sort of way that I will end up buying it I am sure.

So I recently made a big deal about Kim Kardashian as Snow White, and I have mentioned her a few other times in posts… so I figured it was time I should show you all why this gal rocks.

Note however that if you search around the net you will find this sexy actress in a ton of other costumes too. This is just a small sampling of her costume allure.

I really have nor reason for this post except that I just love pretty girls in Snow White costumes and when I saw these I was just happy as a clam.

A lot of people do the Snow White thing every year and I am glad of it because Snow White is a classic.
She is pure, flirty, sweet, and a bit naughty all at the same time.
I enjoy pretty much every style of Snow White costume I have ever seen…. from long flowing numbers to short-barely there designs. Snow White is one of my 2 favorite Disney movies so it is no wonder I like her so much.

Look at Kim Kardashian as Snow White. She certainly gets the award for best Snow White this year. Hot, sexy, cute, and sweet all rolled into one package.

Just makes you want to blow a kiss right back to her.

 Now I believe in being fair, so if anybody has seen a better Sexy  Snow White than Kim from this last year please bring it to my attention and I will be sure to take a look.

I have always been infatuated with Daryl Hannah.
To me she is one of the sexiest actresses to ever work in Hollywood.
Take that thought and couple it with Blade Runner being one of my top movies of all time and you can guess what I think of Daryl Hannah’s role in the movie as Pris.
Wowzers!

The year is 2019 and Pris is replicant (human clone) of the pleasure variety who was created to serve in the colonies outside Earth.
She escapes from an offworld with a few other replicants and comes to earth.
They seek their creator hoping he can extend the short lifespans that have been given to them as a security measure.

They are hunted by Deckard. (played by Harrison Ford)
Deckard  is a Blade Runner = a cop who specialises in terminating replicants.

She gets some help from a guy named Sebastian who designs eyes for replicants.

As you can see… Pris can be very good at getting what she wants and Sebastion is an easy and lonely target. Roy (The leader of the replicants played by Rutger Hauer) looks on while Pris Flirts it up in a very spooky way.

Anyways…. It is one of my favorite movies and if you have not watched it before… Get on it! It is awesome.

As for Pris – She is about the most sexy/spooky character to ever exist.

I hope to see at least one Pris costume this coming Halloween.

It finally seems that the main costume manufacturers are figuring out that when couples go out on Halloween they may both want to dress up to look good.
This year instead of the usual bunch of couples costumes that make the girl look sexy and the guy look ridiculous they have introduced plenty of costume sets with the guy actually able to look pretty darn good.

For example….

Check out this butler and maid costume duo.

These are some sexy costumes and perfect for any couple that wants to have class, be pimp stylin, and have sex appeal.
The male costume is called “Butler Justin Credible”
This  costume includes a button front butler coat with white tuxedo shirt dickie and Satin bowtie. A top hat, removable “Butler Justin Credible” name badge and white gloves.
You will look great in this costume and so will your lady in her….

This is one of the sexiest french maid costumes to come out this year.

I usually don’t like spooky mixed with sexy as it most often is a huge failure, but this couples costume set actually works.
It originally caught my eye because at a glance it looked like the butler from the previous picture took a turn for the worse and I thought it was funny….

Anyway, this costume set works and people will love it. The only problem I see is that it will be super popular with Tim Burton fans searching for Corpse Bride costumes and if you are going to a large party somebody else may have went with this one too.
The thing that makes it o.k is that you can go with the male costume and then get a different corpse bride costume to mix it up. Tons of dead bride costumes are available and many of them are very sexy. Some aim towards the pretty side and others get more racy… but you have lots to chose from.

The Grooms outfit is called “Corpse GroomBarry D’Alive” costume.
It includes a deadsexy crushed velvet jacket with attached Satin button front vest, top hat, bowtie and removable boutonniere.

The Brides costume is called “Corpse Bride Diane Toluvya“.  Don’t you love these fun names?
It includes a stretch knit off the shoulder dress with luscious lace in the center, rose ribbon details along the bust, tulle attached to the skirt and lace petticoat. A dark and lovely veil with roses headband, bouquet, and garter.

So…… Sticking with the suit theme….

How about Zoot Suits ?

This couples costume set  is slick.
One of the things I like about it is that the female costume actually comes with trousers instead of a short skirt.
Don’t get me wrong, i love short skirts as much as the next guy, but just like sexy men’s costumes…. sexy cut women’s costumes that don’t have a short skirt involved are becoming a rarity.
If however you just can’t do a costume without a short skirt… no worries.
A version exists.

Consider this the more racy version…. but no matter what rout you go, the costume set is great for couples.

Sick of suits?

I will give ya one more couples costume set then.

O.k…. I admit it.

I included this set because of the costume names. They just cracked me up.

Even so… I like the costumes.
The main reason I like them (besides the names) is because of the mans costume. Most primitive, cave man, jungle man, wild man costumes are done in one of two ways. Goofy and funny while covering you up so you don’t look to bad if you are not an Olympic athlete… or they are made for people who are built like Olympic athletes.
This costume is right in between.
You need not be Hercules to look sexy in it and it isn’t cut in a way to make you look like a joke.
  

That is actually one of the things that made me include  all of the costumes I have shown. None of them require you to be built like Arnold to look good in them.
