So I fianally got a chance to watch Hellboy 2 and all the costumes are awesome. I love when they use costumes rather than just computer animated crud.

The movie for thos who have not seen it was worth a watch (if you like super hero sci-fi type stuff)

The basic plot is that a prince from the mythical or forgotten world starts a rebellion against humanity in order to rule the Earth, so Hellboy and his team must save the world from the rebellious creatures. Princess Nuala is the twin sister to the prince.

I’m not sure if they ment for her to be hot or not, but she came up a 10 in my book.

I always have had a thing for any elfish type of look and as the princess she has that going on big time. I’d say it’s one of my favorite costume jobs in a movie this last decade.

At first I thought Marie Antoinette was the Lady Versailles this costume represents.

Born an Archduchess of Austria and later to become Queen of France and Navarre. At fourteen, she was married to Louis-Auguste, Dauphin of France, the future Louis XVI.
Once beloved by her people she ended up executed by guillotine.

Then I thought Marie-Adélaïde of Savoy AKA the walking doll (because she was so darned cute)

She pretty much spent her life at the court of  Versailles and all who new her adored her.

Then we have an Anime – The Rose of Versailles (Lady Oscar) about a gal raised as a man lter to become head of the gaurd and then take her noble place again or some such tomfoolery. This was also a movie back in 79 and a play at one point too.

Hmm… enough of all that. I am to lazy to research and find out and it doesnt matter anyway I guess.
