National Milk Chocolate Day!
Can you believe Milk Chocolate has it’s own day?
Being that I simply adore chocolate I sure can… so I decided to post a sexy costume for National Milk Chocolate Day and then I realized I had never seen one.
Oh .. wait, here one is!
The Sexy Chocolate babe costume.

This is actually the Eskimo Cutie Arctic Girl costume.

 A zipper front stretch crushed velvet dress with fauxfur trimmed hood with pom pom ties. This costume includes mittens, faux fur trimmed boot covers, and fake chocolate Popsicle because otherwise you would gain 80 lbs trying to eat chocolate pops all night long or get melted chocolate stuff all over yourself .

So, I didn’t actually find a sexy chocolate girl costume (I did find some funny ones though) but I thought this costume fit the bill just fine. It looks like milk chocolate to me.
Actually this costume is cute enough that if you told me it was a teddy bear costume I would be fine with it.
Any excuse will do.

So if you are a true Chocola-holic… Today is your day. Celebrate with some yummy milk chocolate and know that if you decide to go as a sexy Eskimo for Halloween this year that you will feel as yummy as chocolate.

Today at work we got to talking about video games and Tomb Raider came up in the conversation.
That got me to thinking about Lara Croft, and that got me to thinking about her costume in the movie.

It’s funny to me that I don’t really dig Angelina Jolie, but I really like her in a few roles.

Her role as Lara Croft was one of those. She is hot and sexy in a tough super hero type way that I just cant resist…. plus… I just love her costume. It is 100% Daisy Duke meets Indiana  Jones with just a tad of Naughty added in for spice.
That my friends is a costume super hit.

I looked all over for my copy of the movie and I can’t find it… so now I have to buy a new one

It has kinda become my job to keep an eye out for new sexy costumes.
It’s a job I don’t mind. I love costumes.
A lot of new ones are coming out for the upcoming Halloween season. Yes, I said season… not just Halloween.
Halloween parties cruise though all of October… so you better get your costume in order soon.

So… on with the show.
My top 5 pics of the newest sexy costumes.

1) The Classic Miss Muffet Costume

This has to be the most cute and sexy Miss Muffit costume I have ever seen. For that reason I give it my top spot on the New in July sexy costumes list. I love fairytale costumes in general, but rather than that making me biased I think it makes me a good judge of what makes a great sexy fairytale costume.

2) The Sexy Pin-up Captain Costume

This sexy little number would have been in the number one spot if it wasn't for my love of fairytales. I just adore the retro pin up look, and this racy costume captures it perfectly.

3) A new Fairytale Princess Costume

As I mentioned before... I love the fairytale type stuff, but one thing I usually don't like is the princess costumes. Who ya think you are kidding? Princess? Blah... plus the costumes are usually over done and super lame. .... Halt! what do I see? a down right super sexy fairytail princess costume. What I love best about this is that the costume is cut to be racy, but it is put together oh so pretty. the pretty overpowers the racy aspect so much that it really does make you think princess.

4) A new for 2009 Sexy Little Bo Peep Costume

I know, I know... fairytails!!!! I can't help it. Maybe this should have been the favorite fairytail costume list of July. Little Bo Peep costumes have always been big for Halloween and I like a lot of them. This one is brand new however and really dose the sweet little peep look well while still having that naughty factor. That is what makes this costume sexy. It is naughty and nice at the same time... and we all love that.

5) The Goldie Rush Costume

What can i say, but WOW! This is just plain smoking hot and sexy. It is a kinda western flavored saloon girl look done up in gold to represent the gold rush, but all I see is something better than gold or booze anyways. This costume is sweet and classy to boot.

So… that was my top 5 sexy costumes for July, but I have 2 more cool new for 2009 costumes I wanted to show you also.

Call them honorable mentions I guess.

First is this Go Green Girl  Costume

I like this Go Green costume because I am one of those save the earth dorks and I think we need to all be a little more conscious of what we are doing to our planet.

A costume like this will give you (if you are the dorky save the earth type) the oportunity to explain your views. people will ask. You get to answer.
It comes with a “Recyclers Do It Twice” pin and an earth purse.
Oh.. and it’s made of 100% organic cotton if anybody asks

My next honorable mention is

The Female Ninja Master  Costume

The reason I like this costume?
Because who the heck doesn’t want to be a ninja?
Let me refrase that….
who the heck doesn’t want to be a sexy ninja?
I think that is all that needs to be said about this costume.

I watched Barbarella last night.
This is a flick I revisit about once every three years it seems and when I do I usually watch it 2 or three times in a month.

Barbarella is a movie from 1968 featuring Jane Fonda as Barbarella … a highly sexual 41st century astronaut on a strange planet full of very odd characters where a new sin is invented every hour.
Bad guys (and gals) galore and all kinds of inventive costumes abound in this movie.

Besides the costumes you will also find the Excessive Machine – which is an organ like thing that gives sexual pleasure. An evil-ish lesbian queen who can make dreams become real. A crazy bong that lets girls smoke the essence of man and much much more. Watch this flick if it sounds interesting. It’s bizarre and awesome. It’s dark and naughty. It is my favorite Jane Fonda movie.

Barbarella: Queen of the Galaxy

It has been an ongoing thing that a remake of Barbarella is going to happen.
I doubt if it will, and I also doubt that it will hold up to the original if they do make it.
We will just have to wait and see.

As with all older movies… it is less expensive to buy than rent… so get a copy.
This movie ROCKS!

July is National Blueberry month.
Considering that this is my very favorite berry and I eat them all the time I am cool with that. If any berry deserves it’s own month it is the blueberry.

The USDA declared July to be blueberry month back in 1999 stating that Blueberries are grown in 35 states in the US, and the United States produces over 90% of all of the blueberries in the world.
That’s cool, but even better yet is that not only are blueberries very good for you… they are yummy.

Since I love blueberries and wanted to do a post here on Getting Racy Costume Blog about blueberry month I immediately thought of blueberry costumes… the funny part is that when i think blueberry costumes my first thought isn’t of a racy costume.

It’s of Violet Beauregarde

Violet Beauregarde as a blueberry

Violet Beauregarde is the third of the five children to find one of Willy Wonka’s elusive Golden Tickets in the Charlie and the chocolate factory movie. She is a crazy gum chewer. Played by Denise Nickerson she is an over achiever and highly excitable. She is also the only kid besides Charlie himself to get a golden ticket all on her own.
In the movie Willy Wonka has invented a gum that is a three-course dinner: tomato soup, roast beef and blueberry pie. Wonka warns Violet not to chew it. Violet argues that she holds the world record in chewing gum and begins chewing it anyway. She claims it is amazing, but when it reaches the blueberry pie her face begins to turn blue. Soon her entire body turns blue, before expanding like a balloon being blown up and then becoming similar to a large blue ball. Willy tells the Oompa Loompas to roll her to the juicing room to be squeezed of the blueberry juice that had built up inside her.
This particular scene has one of my favorite lines from the whole movie …
“Violet! You’re turning violet, Violet! “
I just love it!

O.K. … enough of that. Violet Beauregarde is cool, but sexy? No!

Back to the land of Racy Costumes

First we have the Blueberry Girl Costume
Usually you see this costume on a brunette running around with a friend  dressed  in a Strawberry Girl Costume. It’s that Strawberry Shortcake thing ya know

This racy 3pc blueberry girl costume from Leg Avenue consists of a bonnet, peasant top dress with charms and attached apron and striped stockings. The first time I saw a girl in this outfit I actually said "yum" .. her cheeks turned so red I thought she might turn into a strawberry. This is a super cute costume and you can never go wrong with super cute. at least not in my book.

 And next we have the Blueberry Muffin Costume

It's Blueberry Muffin and She's Your "Berry" Best Friend! - Yep it's an official Strawberry Shortcake costume and it is also just cute as all get out. This costume features Light and dark blue checkered sleeveless dress with attached apron, matching puff arm bands, green and white striped knee high stockings, and blue hat with lavender ribbon.

Both costumes are cute, both costumes are racy, both costumes are perfect because they are all about yummy blueberries…. and that’s all I have to say about that!
