Tank Girl and Jet Girl

I like comics. I like old-school punk (probably because I’m to old for the newer stuff) I like naughty girls with lots of attitude. I like crazy people and odd adventures.
I hate the mundane and get bored with what most people call fun because it just ain’t fun usually. It’s Boring. People are boring for the most part. What ever happened to adventure and getting crazy?
Ahh…. I start to ramble.
Anyway, with that said, you can imagine that I liked the Tank Girl comic series when it came out. How could I not like a post apocalypse tale set in what was once Australia revolving around a crazy pervert girl who lives in a tank and is dating a half human kangaroo mutation of a creature?
It’s just to much fun.
Oops… almost started to ramble again.
This isn’t about the comic. It’s about Lori Petty dressed up as Tank Girl and Naomi Watts dressed up as Jet Girl for the movie that was inspired by the comic.
In 1995 a movie was made called Tank Girl that pretty much grooved right along with the way the comic was done (as much as any movie ever does) and it was awesome. Or at least I liked it. ’

It is all about this chick they call Tank Girl who is played by Lori Petty. She is kinda a hero, but more of a bad ass punker chick. She dresses like crap, but still looks sexy and has a wicked fun attitude.
She gets into some trouble fighting a big corporation that controls all the water and meets up with this other hot but strange girl who is a grease-monkey weirdo and is played by Naomi Watts.
The two girls break outa corperate prison and get off with a tank and a jet.
They then run into these mutant kangaroo people who are a tad on the loopy side and they all join forces to rescue a very important little girl and fight the big corp….Talk about Fun!

Both Tank Girl and Jet Girl are dirty, flirty, naughty and in the case of Tank Girl a bit nasty.
I personally think them both kinda sexy with a bit of a leaning towards the character of Jet Girl even though I love the pushy attitude of Tank Girl.
Many agree and find these girls hott, but many don’t, so I will leave this one up to you.

Whatever your tastes… you must admit Tank Girl looks interesting.

If you have not seen this amazing movie I highly recommend watching it. Actually… If you enjoy comics, crazy girls, low-brow humor mixed with some crudity and traditional slapstick… Then I highly recommend watching it. It is not the kind of movie to get an academy award, but it is the kind of movie to entertain if you are not looking for something totally serious. Plus as an added bonus you get to see Ice-T dressed up as a mutant kangaroo who acts like a hopping badass. Top that for odd.
