I point out how one and a half hours of fighting cavemen, fire, dinosaurs and Raquel Welch in next to nothing as a sexy cave girl has a lasting affect on a young mind.

You would think that being the female star in a movie like that back in 1966 would be enough for a movie star… but oh no… Not enough for Raquel Welch.

The costumes are not as sexy (at least to me) but since it was just a few years later (1970)when Myra Breckinridge came out I must say it was just as racy and 10 times as naughty.

Actually, I would classify it as very confusing rather than racy considering I was just a youngster when I first saw the movie. I was to young to really get it all, but it was still funny and it was still sexy, so it served it’s purpose I suppose.

Myra Breckinridge was a very strange movie not just for it’s time, but for any time. It was about this dood who wanted a sex change. He got one from a super looped drugged up doctor and the operation was a huge success. So good in fact that this dood end up looking just like Raquel Welch!
Once this dood becomes a chick he/she goes to Hollywood and and ends up teaching in an acting school for her Uncle Buck. It seems Buck is a former cowboys star. For all I cared about that it was a good thing because we end up getting some good stars and stripes costume mileage from it.
I remember getting pretty confused at this point when I was a kid because he/she ends up having all kinds of strange adventures that I really didn’t understand.
After re-watching the film as an adult I am still not sure about it all… but is is entertaining and Raquel is just as sexy as always.

I just found out that May is National Strawberry month.
Yes… you heard that correctly. This tasty little berry gets it’s very own celebration month.
Being a big fan of strawberries in general, I am all for it. I eat them all the time.
Yum yum yum and they are good for you too!
Another thing about strawberries is that they are a darn sexy berry. Just watching somebody biting into one brings to mind passion.
So…. lets add into the mix a bit of strawberry costume fun.

This sexy and cute costume takes the cake... Strawberry Shortcake that is ! Yes, I know, bad joke, but I couldn't help it.

This racy little number is new on the market for 2009. It doesn't get much more cute than this.

My idea … Surprise your hubby after work with one of these darling costumes  and a bowl full of fresh strawberries and some home made shortcake.
It’s easy and it will be appreciated in a million ways.
He may forget his own mothers birthday, but he wont forget that May is national strawberry month for the rest of his life.

My Heidi Klum’s got milk post reminded me of what may possibly have been my favorite sexy costume advertisements ever.
What are they you ask?
Why – Christina Aguilera’s naughty costume Skechers advertisements of course.
When it comes to sexy costumes being used in an advertisement these ads take the cake.
The 2004 Sketchers ad campaign featured Christina Aguilera as as both naughty and nice in each advertisement. Yep… she played both parts in each ad (double the fun)

Christina as both hottie teacher and super sexy schoolgirl. I love both looks - I could not have pictured Christina Aguilera as a hottie teacher before seeing this. Anybody up for staying after school to bang erasers?

Here we have Christina as both the cute patient and the sexy and somehow scary nurse. It must be the giant needle, but scary or not... she is yum, yum, yum in this sexy nurse costume.

I am betting you can understand why I rate these advertisement posters up at the top now that you are looking at them.
I am also betting if you don’t dig Christina Aguilera normally you are making an exception at this moment. She looks awesome in these ads. Kudo’s to her, skechers, and the advertisement team who created these great images.

You are probably wondering why you didn’t see these ads more often (if you saw them at all)
Well the reason is that people complained and the ads got banned. To sexy?
Blah…
Some nurse group complained because it made nurses look scary and at the same time made them look like sex objects, The Lolita style schoolgirl and teacher shot got complaints because it gave a bad image to young girls supposedly. I don’t remember what the complaint about the Naughty Officer Costume advertisement was.
However you slice it the ads went away. Big bummer.

What I find strange is that we are bombarded with violence and gross acts on TV,  in the movies, songs, books, magazines…. We have war on the boob tube and the front page of our news publications give us accidents, murders, theft, sickness…. all the nasty stuff of the world is o.k. 
Yet … a little sexuality, a little fantasy, a little thought of role play… NO WAY! 
       It’s just stupid to me.
I don’t run the world however, so I guess I can’t do much about it.

I can however post these ads. I can say they look great and Skechers did an awesome job. I can say that the shoes are pretty cute in a couple of the ads and even though I am not getting paid to have these ads on my blog Skechers is getting a plug just because the ads are awesome.
That’s the kind of thing that happens when you make a cool ad. Even if it does get pulled because some people wanted to complain.

Heidi Klum is one of the hottest models in the world and considering that she is in her thirties and has had 3 children that is a big statement, but one that can not be argued.

She is the “Got Milk?” girl and if the milk people are trying to show us that “Milk does a body good!” they picked the right girl for the job.

My favorite ad of course was the one unveiled last Halloween.
A very sexy Heidi Klum in a Bavarian style racy milk made costume looking ohh- so wonderful.
The ad was unveiled at The Every Picture Tells A Story art gallery and bookstore in Los Angeles and they gave away yummy chocolate milk for the attendees.

All I can say is that when you take a girl as pretty as Heidi Klum and dress her up in a cute, sexy costume like this with pigtails and a funny milk mustache it just makes me want to…….
Eat cookies.
Yep, cookies and milk. Nothing more satisfying.

Here we have Heidi Klum drinking milk in her racy milk maid costume... You just know that makes you want some youself. Plus the cookies of course.

 No jury needs to deliberate on this one. Heidi is sexy, the costume is sexy , the cow is lucky , and the ad is awesome.

I guess that leaves me with nothing to say… as the pictures speak for themselves.
The message? Drink Milk.  It makes cookies taste better.

When it comes to getting racy and sexy costumes Dita Von Teese is what it is all about.
Sometimes called “the Queen of Burlesque” Dita is known worldwide for her amazing burlesque performances. As Von Teese would say “I put the tease back into striptease.”
She is often credited with bringing the art of Burlesque back into popularity. Elaborate act, choreographed dance acts, amazing sets and very racy costumes are all part of the Von Teese experience.

Besides her burlesque shows, Dita is also a very well known model. She has appeared in almost every high class fashion magazine in the world and has walked the catwalk many a time. She is often mentioned on best dressed lists and is a regular in the front row at certain high end fashion shows. This is all the more impressive when you come to find out that she puts her famous sexy retro look together all by herself.

I’m not sure, but in my opinion this gal is one of the reasons the 40’s and 50’s retro look has started to emerge in everyday fashions again. She has been sporting a sexy retro style the whole time and doing it well… people like it.

To see Dita’s more racy side… do some net searching and you will find she has appeared in playboy numerous times (Some of the best shoots ever) and that she has done enough fetish photo modeling to call it an amazing career in itself. Her body and face seem to have been made for fetish costumes. She is beautiful to the extreme.
