The Original Sexy Cave Girl Raquel Welch

A lot of men love the idea of their gal dressing up as a cave girl. It’s SEXY.

Why? well… it’s primal, it’s animal, no inhibitions when society is thrown out the door. Savage love is exciting and the aggressive nature of it makes for great play… but beyond that it is just plain childhood fantasy taken to an adult level.

Today movies are chalk full of sexuality and scantily clad females, but not so long ago this wasn’t the case. When I was a kid in the seventies it wasn’t the case that is for sure.  You could count  off pretty much every mainstream movie ever made that showed scantily clad females all the way through it  on your fingers without running out of fingers.

The first such movie I remember seeing like that was One Million Years B.C  starring Raquel Welch & John Richardson. I loved this movie. It was a special effects masterpiece for it’s day with all kinds of fire and it had awesome dinosaurs. You just can’t beet a thing like that when you are a kid in the 70’s… unless of course you decide to have the main female star be Raquel Welch and dress her in a skimpy fur bikini.

Yep, that is what we had. One and a half hours of fighting cavemen, fire, dinosaurs and Raquel in next to nothing. Remember here that Raquel Welch was at this time pretty much one of the hottest gals on the planet and you can see why this would lead to cave girl fantasies for millions of young men.

Later other movies and shows took off with the same hook. IE: Dinosaur (or other animals) + fighting + sexy girl in fur bikini = movies boys wanted to watch. these guys got older and bammo! men who would love to have their girl dress up in a fur bikini and play cave girl. 

It all started with the sexy Raquel.

Just looking at the pictures explains it all.

If the movie was a bit before your time you really should check it out. It’s about a caveman named Tumak who gets banished from his tribe. Gets into this other group, but gets booted from them as well. The thing is however that one of the girls from the new tribe really dug on him, so she takes off with him when he splits.  It’s got a lot of old school action and some serious cave man fights. Good old sci-fi stuff.

You can get One Million Years B.C. at Amazon for about the same price I can rent it at my video rental store because it is pretty old (1966) and was pretty danr popular and has become kinda a cult classic… so I recommend just buying it rather than renting it because it’s a great deal.
