My last post about getting dressed up as a bunny made me start thinking about a few bunny ear girls I have seen and liked.  Thousands of girls have dressed up over the years as sexy bunnies and for that we have Playboy to thank. I don’t think anybody can argue that without Playboy Magazine we would not associate girls in bunny ears as super sexy the way we do. Not that it wouldn’t be cute and sexy… we love all the little fuzzy animal ear costumes, cats especially. The bunny however is the dominant choice all because of Playboy.

So, with that ramble out of the way… I give you some of my own personal faves.

It is almost Easter. Holidays are my fave as you all know by now because they give such a great excuse to dress up. Easter is more of a serious holiday not really aimed at parties and the like,  so it doesn’t lend itself so well as other holidays in that regard. It does have bunnies and Easter egg hunts and little baskets filled with straw though.

Coming home to find your darling all dolled up as bunny is a sweet surprise. You could even make a game of it and leave him a note telling him it’s egg hunt time. Hide the eggs with each one giving a clue as to the location of the next until it leads to you… super fun.

If you want to take this game to the limit you could hide the eggs around town (very well so nobody else finds them) and have them lead to a hotel room. Have it all set up romantic with you in a bunny outfit holding an Easter basket with champagne and chocolates. wow!

If that is overboard for you.. the simple act of being in a bunny outfit when he gets home will be awesome enough  I am sure. Plus just getting dolled up as a bunny is easy and not expensive. You can get sexy ears and a tail for under $10. or you can get some very nice full costumes at …….

About a month and a half ago I did a post on Princess Leia Costumes. You can see   my former post on Princess Leia costumes here. My original post was mostly about how much I liked the costume and that other people did too. Well, boy was I right. 

Since that post I have been getting a ton of people coming to the site looking for certain celebrities dressed in the costume.

The most popular is Jenifer Aniston. In the third season of friends Rachel (Jennifer Aniston) asks if her boyfriend, Ross (David Schwimmer), has any sexy fantasies.  Ross admits that Princess Leia as Jabba’s prisoner top’s his list.  At the end of the show, Rachel actually dresses as Slave Leia to surprise him. It doesn’t work out well in the show… but I would have liked it.

The next most popular is Carrie Fisher herself. The one and only true princess Leia. It amazes me that she comes in second on the searches rather than first.. but then again she is the one all the rest get compared to.

Coming in 3rd we have Kristen Bell from the movie Fanboys. I have not seen the movie yet so I can’t comment on it, but I can say I think she looks just fabulous in her princess leia costume.

Olivia Munn is the 4th most popular search and I can only say that I understand why.. she is a hot, sexy and funny all in one package. I think she deserves her very own post here at Getting Racy so… look for that in the future.

Last bu not least is actress Yvonne Strahovski. She dressed up as a sexy slave Leia on the show Chuck. 

A few more random Princess Leia searches come in for this site, but those are the main ones so I will leave it at that. The point is that Princess Leia in her sexy slave costume is a very popular image that will continue to spark the imagination for years to come.  It’s been a long time since Jabba had a hold of her and the popularity of the costume has not died down yet.

The Watchmen movie is out. It’s not what I expected, but it’s good and worth watching and even buying to watch over and over. Yep I liked it. This isn’t a movie review however so I won’t ramble on about it.

I will say however that the costumes are great and 2 of them are darn sexy. Both Silk Spectre and Nite owl get props in the sexy costume department.

Silk Spectre’s costume was actually a surprise for me. I had not seen any trailers and was expecting  something a bit different. I love the shiny latex and Malin Akerman does it justice. She is smoking hot in her Shiny black and yellow latex. 

The Nite owl costume is what I really like in a male costume. Tough , mysterious, manly. Patrick Wilson is a lucky guy for getting to have this costume be his.  His character utilizes owl-themed gadgets. He is  not what I would call a sexy character in his normal attire… but  bam!  put him in this costume and he rocks!  The costume is very Batman-like , and that is a good thing. Batman possibly has the best costume of any male hero.

I also have to mention  Sally Jupiter if I am talking about sexy costumes. Played by Carla Gugino… this is my kind of costume. It’s kind of a lingerie meets superheroen retro sex kitten thing. This is the kind of costume that would be super fun to dress up in. Especially if you get the hair and makeup done all retro perfect to go with it. I hope to see at least one or two versions of this next Halloween.  A Retro Racy Costume.

Earlier this week Madonna attended a got dressed up in a catholic schoolgirl costume for the Jewish celebration of  Purim  at the Kabbalah center in New York.  For some reason people all over have fixated on her costume. I suppose when you are 50, famous, hot, and in control of your own life people will pay attention and that is the main reason people are paying so much attention to her outfit.

The thing that stuck me however is that her outfit is only a costume because she is 50. Thousands of girls 15 to 25 dress like this all the time and nobody even notices. It is just a look. Get over the age of 30 however and it becomes a costume.  This is evident in the fact that Madonna’s dark and dreary schoolgirl costume is reportedly nothing more than borrowed clothes from her daughters wardrobe.

I am not the biggest fan of the catholic schoolgirl look in general for a costume. I like it, it can be sexy, cute, naughty… all depending on how it is done and who is doing it. It just seems rather lame compared to what is available.  It especially seems lame when it is Madonna. This girl usually shakes things up with her costumes or at least gets into it enough to impress.  She is usually hot or blows your mind with something. Not here though… Here she just looks blah and a bit old. If you are going to dress like a younger gal when you are over fifty you need to do it all the way. You need to go overboard with steriotypes. Pigtails at least.  I am very unimpressed.

I like Madonna. I like her look, her crazy antics, her opinionated loud voice and the fact that she keeps herself in great shape and looks better than most 20 year olds…. most of the time.  This one just blows.
